A Tourist in My Own City

By Tanya Blackstar - 08:48

Since I started working at my new firm, I've met a ton of international colleagues- and boy do they know how to explore London. They put me to shame with their knowledge of cool spots and little gems around London.

I have officially decided that I am going to take FULL advantage of the fact that I'm lucky enough to live and work in the amazing city of London. I'm taking this serious! So much so that I've decided to create my own little bucketlist of adventures around London....

  1. Have dinner at the top of The Shard - There is absolutely no reason why I haven't visited this tourist attraction yet, I'm pretty sure it's been up for over a year so it's a must! (expensive but definitely worth it, methinks)
  2. Visit Borough Market and eat from one of the stalls like a hippie
  3. Race for Life in Regents Park
  4. Hampton Court Palace Festival
  5. Sketch Bar
  6. Ride a rickshaw (How have I not done this?!)
  7. Lion King in theatre
  8. Go the Ritz Hotel
  9. Watch a concert at the o2 arena
  10. Go to dinner at the Burger & Lobster
  11. Eat at Nobu
  12. See the ballet at the Royal Opera House
  13. Eat at Hakkasan
  14. Regents Park Open Air theatre
  15. Winter Wonderland
  16. The royal ascot
  17. The electric cinema
  18. Explore Portobello Road
  19. Check out Gilgamesh in Camden
  20. Hang out at camden lock

What else do I need to add to my list?
